Costume Magazine…

I am so happy to tell you about some good news within my work… I took some pictures of pilates instructure Noël Winkelmann last year, which end up in Costume Magazine this month, which is one the biggest, most read woman magazine in Denmark…

Noël contacted me and told me that she couldn’t make it for their fotosession so if it was ok to use the picture I took :0) I was more then happy to hear that and was waiting “ages” to get the magazine in my hands… Costume has been published now and you can see the picture on page 127. My name has been written uncorrect but it is still me that has taken the picture ;0)

Photo session of the Valentine’s competition…

It was her first time and she did a great job… I went for something simpel and elegant… Black and white, which I love to work with…

Events on Valentine’s Day…

If you are planning to do something with your dearest on Valentine’s Day but don’t exactly what, then I have some suggestions for you… Since I live in DK and around Copenhagen area, my suggestions will be from there

Here is the Top 5 – Valentine’s Day Planner!

1- Have a culturel date on Nationalmuseet: Nationalmuseet in Ny Vestergade is open between 10-17 with “Lovebrunch & heartcakes” (Kærlighedsbrunch og hjertekager). Beside the delicious menu, you can follow the hearts through the museum and discover beaut…

2- Delicious Thai-food: I must admit that I just love Thai Pan! They have been elected for being “Byens Bedste” in 2006 & 2007 and I think they are still the best when we talk about Thai-food. You can sit near the window where you have a view of lake. http://www.thaipan.dk

3- Gentofte Kino: I have discovered that there is a wonderful cinema not far away from where I live! They have pulled every second chair out, so you have a HUGE space in front of you. It is really comfortable and pleasant, because it is a small cinema with lots of charm! They have several movies on Sunday. http://www.gentoftekino.dk/

4- Home Romantic: What about making something romantic at home…? There are lots of delicious recipe on the internet. http://www.opskrifter.dk got lots of recipes and inspiration for the menus…

5- Bernstorffsparken: If you have a boyfriend AND a dog, then you can have romantic day in Bernstorffsparken! Lots of green areas, rosegarden, Svenskevilla where you can get a warm cop of cacao and a wienerbrød! What else for a wonderful Sunday…?

Leadership in practice…

There are lots of leaders out in workplaces but not all of them are doing well… There can be many reasons for that… The only thing I know is that, as an employee, it is the worst thing to have a leader that doesn’t understand you, support you or motivate you!

I have experienced it a couple of times and it is hard to live with it. But what do you do when you have this situation?? Well I guess it depends on your own personality, first time I just choose to quit, find something new. Second time it happened, I felt that I was much stronger since my last experience and tried to solve it out with my leader directly, when it didn’t help I went to his boss and HR. But I experienced that the HR was on managment site and the only person that could understand me and in my eyes has a great leadership skills were my boss’ boss. These experiences and things that I have been through, made me very strong and I know how to react and act in these situations now. When I see so many weak leaders I get more passion to study leadership and do the opposite of those who does it wrong…

Since my goals are to be one of the leaders one day (the best one of a kind ) I am studying within leadership… Yesterday I had my first lesson  in leadering in practice… I will be really hardcore this semester and have chosen to take 2 different courses at the same time, which means I will also be at school today with “leadership” lessons which is more theorotical… I am really looking forward to learn some new stuff and finish 2 of main courses within summer!

Best shot of January…

I think that time is running from me… I have so many ideas, that I would like to execute in real life but I need to accept that a day is only 24 hours of adventure…. Even though I try to push it up to higher level…

Well I had a wonderful photo session this month and I feel that not only the result of it was good, actually communication with that person and our future collaboration will also result great! She was cute, photogenic, humoristic and gorgeous in front of the camera I won’t say her name, but let’s call her for “Pink Lady”

Baby steps with Flash…

I did it, I began to learn Flash. It is actually not that hard (not yet)…  The other day I made a square to jump around, my bf thinks that I am crazy and I thought it was fun Well next lesson is to make some banners for my upcoming new webpage http://www.banes.dk

Birthday cake…

I recently had a cake order for a birthday and woud like to share the picture with you… It is a cake with white chocolate genache and berry mousse covered with fondant. I knew that she loves Mac so I tried to make a cake where there is a Mac logo and some powerful colours on the other side which also express Mac a little bit. I got the idea when I saw Mac’s old logo where the apple got lots of colours on it!
